Cardinal Bread Bakery

Baked with a dash of love by 线上买球平台 Middle School students. Learn why they started a small business. You'll be tempted to place an order today.

In the fall of 2022, 线上买球平台 Middle School started a bread bakery called Cardinal Bread Bakery. In the weeks before launch, students tested recipes, piloted a soft opening, and managed money and resources. Over half of the ingredients the Cardinal Bread Bakery uses are organic.

线上买球平台 Middle School practices “share, save, spend” with their proceeds. At least 40% of any profit will go to CKCKC (线上买球平台 Kids Conquer Kids’ Cancer), Ukrainian refugees, or other causes that inspire our students. The remaining profits are split between the re-investment in the business and savings as seed money for future generations of Middle School entrepreneurs.

Middle School Microeconomics

Maria Montessori believed that adolescents benefit from practicing small-scale adult activities alongside their academic learning. In particular, Montessori Middle School students are encouraged to develop or continue an established small business. This practice in microeconomics is a Middle School experience that differentiates Montessori schools.

The 线上买球平台 Middle School business offers an independent, hands-on insight into how an economy works. Students can make mistakes, learn, experiment, and grow. As small business managers, students demonstrate responsibility and contribute to the community while developing skills in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, product design, sales, and marketing. 线上买球平台 students invite parents, alumni, and other experienced professionals to mentor and advise them.
